Lama nggak ngeblog akhirnya kangen jugak hihi, dikarenakan banyak hal saya emang lama banget MIA nggak kutak katik blog :(

Sibuk bekerja di Timur Indonesia (sekarang udah selesai doooong...) dan sibuk... ngurusin kawinan... TARRRRAAAA... Iya banget nih mau kewong dalam waktu dekat :D

Dan emang rempong banget ya urusin beginian sampe migrain melulu. Intinya, persiapan hmm hampir semua vendor seperti gedung, catering, gaun, MUA, dekorasi gedung, foto-video, souvenir, undangan, wedding cake udah dapet semua. Tinggal wedding car dan printilan kecil-kecilnya aja sih yang belom. 

Karena sekarang masih berjibaku kelarin ini itu, nanti kalo sudah komplit tentu bakal saya update lagi..

Hello, kali ini aku mau ngereview produk untuk perawatan bibir biar makin kece pas pake lipstik hihi ;)

Ini merupakan natural sugar lip scrub, bagus banget untuk ngangkat kulit mati di bibir. Aku sendiri pas pake ini berasa bibirnya lebih pinkish dan lebih plump. How awesome is that?

(UPDATE) Kabar dari Timur

Halo, apa kabar???
Ngga berasa udah 2 bulan juga kerja di Masohi.
Hmm jadi gini, Masohi ini emang kota kabupaten sih, tapiiii sepi banget. Jauh banget kalau di bandingkan dengan kota-kota dipulau Jawa. Jadi kangen kan nih sama Jakarta jadinya.

Oiya disini gw kerja sebagai tenaga kesehatan di puskesmas Amahai, sekitar 10-15menit dari kota Masohi. Puskesmasnya deket pantai , ehm deket pelabuhan sih sebenernya, bukan pantai cantik buat cipak2 asik gitu hehehe. Tapi sehari-hari gw tinggal di kota Masohi, kebetulan dapat jatah rumah dinas disini juga, bersyukur banget walaupun tinggalnya bersembilan hehehe.

Untuk hiburan? Yah, minim sekali saudara-saudara. Restoran hanya ada beberapa dengan menu sebagian besar ikan dan menu laut lainnya yang tetep aja mahal sih menurut saya, ke pantai pun menurut gw ngga begitu menarik. Tapi bolehlah buat rekreasi. Bioskop? Jelas nda ada. Kafe yang paling oke cuma ada 1. Mungkin kalau ke daerah sini emang harus sekalian bablasin jalan ke daerah Seram Utara, ke pantai Ora yang fenomenal itu.

Late Night Thoughts

Seorang sahabat pernah bertanya, "Kita hidup untuk apa sih?". I laughed it off, telling him a dozen of jokes about life. 

Then late at night, I secretly thinking about his question. Thinking about what's the real purpose of our life. I do have life goals, plenty. I plan every second of my life, carefully.

Okay, I have to admit I do watch youtube like ALL-THE-FREAKING-TIME-I-CAN-NOT-STOP. Mostly makeup tutorials or beauty reviews. I don't know it's just addicting to watch beautiful ladies with flawless makeup.

She's so bubbly, full of smile, really funny, does a great review/tutorial, and you know what? watching her videos is like having a nice chat with a friend (whilst having coffee)

She's beautiful, does awesome beauty tutorial and swatches, and also she did a collaboration with the brand ColourPopCosmetics for Lip Product (Lumiere Lippie Stix and Lip Pencil, also eyeshadow set). I have the Lumiere lippie stix one, and It is an amazing color. I might actually make a review about it next, hopefully)

Ok, I admit that I watch her videos not only for beauty stuff, but also for her cute kids. She has 4 channels on youtube for tutorial and vlogs, I guess (itsjudytime, ItsJudysLife, ItsMommysLife and BellezaConJudy). She also has a blog, So go go go check it out!

Coming Up Next.... Pindahan ke Indonesia Timur :)

Jadi akhirnya, saya akan mengikuti progam internship dokter. Akhirnya.. Program wajib yang mau ngga mau harus mau. Tanggal 29 Mei kemarin jadilah saya dan pacar saya ngikutin pemilihan wahana (tempat) internship yang diadain online. Kebayang ngga? milih online 'rebut-rebutan' karena pasti ada yang bakal ngga kebagian. Yang ikut 'klik klik berhadiah' kurang lebih ada 2000an dokter baru, dari seluruh Indonesia. Emang ngga down websitenya? Tentu saja down. Mau Login aja luarbiasa SUSAH. Saya dan pacar saya sengaja ngeklik bareng, karena emang pengen dapet lokasi internship yang sama. Setelah 20menitan stres, ngga bisa login-login, panik karena begitu login wahana udah tinggal dikit, muka semi mewek takut ngga dapet tempat barengan, dan doa dalam hati terus menerus, akhirnya barengan dapat tempat internship di RSUD Masohi (Kab. Dati II), Maluku Tengah.

Lega dong udah dapat tempat fix, tempatnya juga ngga asing-asing banget karena masih di tanah kelahiran saya, culture shock? tentu tidak, kendala bahasa juga tentunya minim atau malahan ngga ada masalah sama sekali, dan yang penting ngga perlu LDR. Asik kan? :):):) 

Sekarang yang jadi masalah, bagaimana caranya packing untuk setahun?. Bukan packing liburan loh ini, ini packing buat kerja 1 tahu. Hahaha.

(UPDATE) Weight Lost

1 minggu, turun 4,5 kg. YIPPIE!

Trying to Lose Weight

Turunin berat badan?? Susah kawan-kawan, dan ini merupakan salah satu topik emosional dan bikin cranky berat tiap kali nginget berat badan dan liat timbangan.

Jadi gini, gue itu terlahir mungil, prematur, kecil masa kehamilan dan menghabisan lebih dari separuh umur gue being underweight. Terlahir cuma 1900g (bayangin megang 2 plastik gula 1kg, itupun gulanya masih lebih berat), jadi anak kerempeng semasa SD, SMP, SMA, bahkan kuliah tahun awal-awal. Dan emang pas masih bocah susah banget makannya. bayangin pas masih bocah bisa bilang kenyang setelah makan 2 sendok nasi, itupun harus di bujuk2 dulu, nyemil pun gue ngga suka cobak. Cuma mau minum susu coklat, sehari bisa minum 3 gelas susu coklat, kalau dipikir-pikir ini kaya buat survival banget, ga ada susu coklat mungkin gue ga bakal makan apa-apa kali ya. Sayuran? boro-boro. Cuma sayur jenis tertentu yang mau gua lahap itu pun dalam jumlah sedikit. Ini terjadi dari bocah - lulus SD. Masuk SMP udah banyakan dikit makannya dan udah lebih bervariasi (tapi tetep underweight). Masuk SMA, porsi makan ditambah, frekuensi makan nambah bisa 4-5x makan dalam sehari , mungkin karena ada efek malu punya badan kerempeng. Yup, bisa dibilang saya minder jadi anak kurus yang keliatan kurang gizi, disaat temen-temen saya (yang cewe udah mulai berisi ala-ala soon to be women pada umumnya). I had no curve whatsoever, cuma papan lurus hehe. Pas SMA, bayangin aja, gue  bisa sarapan di rumah, nasi dan lelaukannya atau roti, dan sampai sekolah sebelom masuk kelas masih bisa nyemil apa dulu gitu kek, jam 10an istirahat pertama, jajan lagi dong, istirahat makan siang? makan berat lagi dong, pulang sekolah? ya makan lagi (sebelom pulang ke rumah) dan nanti di rumah masih bisa makan lagi, lagi dan lagi. Apakah berat badannya naik? Tentu tidak. Sekolah 3 tahun (dengan pola makan begitu) bisa naik 1-2 kg aja udah syukur banget. Pengaruh aktivitas? Hmm, gue main futsal sih 1-2 kali seminggu, but that's it, paling cuma lari-lari 2-3 jam per minggu, dikit kan aktivitasnya haha.

Masuk kuliah masih cungkring at 43kg, pola makan masih sama, nah yang ini lumayan banget 3,5 tahun kuliah bisa naik 5kg, Ini udah ideal banget mukanya udah segeran ngga kaya anak kelaparan lagi. Damn I was hot at the moment, I got appropriate lady lumps here and there, ideal body. Oiya malah saya sempet join membership di Fitness Centre ternama dan lumayan rutin olahraganya biar fit gitu. Lalu memasuki masa koass, That's when the nightmare happened, berat badan melejit nambah 9 kg lagi, sedangkan olahraga udah ngga bisa serutin dulu karena banyak kesibukan. Dan ini berlangsung sampai sekarang saya sudah menginjak 6xkg, sedih ya. Mungkin karena faktor umur nambah otomatis metabolisme pelan-pelan makin berkurang, Mau keep up aktivitasnya juga susah, sesering apapun saya olahraga, tetep aja susah baik ke berat normal lagi :(

So, here I am, mencoba kembali kurus, bukan apa-apa, biar kerasa lebih sehat, dan ngerasa PD aja, bukan cuma untuk ngerasa okeh diliat orang, tapi to feel good about myself. Ini minggu pertama nih ngurangin makan. Nothing extreme, cuma ngurangin porsi aja, dan menghindari nasi (karena saya suka banget makan nasi, jadi emang harus di rem-rem nih kalo nanti menjadi-jadi doyannya, ujung-ujungnya craving. Olahraga? Yup, Olahraga juga tapi memang ngga intense, karena saya sendiri punya HNP cervical (bahasa awamnya saraf kejepit di daerah leher), jadi mau ngga mau memang olahraga kaya lari, dan angkat-angkat beban harus dihindari biar ngga membebani titik tumpu di tulang belakang, Tapi karena mau ningkatin masa otot,  saya angkat beban sih dikit-dikit, moderately, dengan beban yang bearable repetisi - set ngga banyak. Untuk cardio, karena ngga boleh lari (treadmill whatsoever) jadi digantiin sepeda statis, moderate juga tentunya ngga boleh sampe maksa.

March 2015 (Mini) Haul!

Lama tak jumpa, saking rempongnya sama kerjaan jadi ga bisa ngupdate blog :'(

SOOO, HERE IT IS. HAUL POST!
FYI, Ini pertama kalinya bikin haul post, jadi sebenernya agak bingung harus mulai darimana? hehe

Belanjaan Maret! Yay!!

okay jadi ini kurang lebih belanjaan (kosmetik) bulan maret, dikit yah... jadi kita sebut saja mini haul hihi o_O

So let's see what I got here:

1. Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation shade 842 Medium Beige. Akhirnya punya juga foundie ini. beli nya sekitar 190 atau 200 ribu, lupa pas nya berapa hehe.

2. Maybelline Hypersharp Liner. beli di SOGO Central Park Rp. 85,000. Berasa mahal beli ini, dulu cuma 75 ribu perasaan. ini udah di pake beberapa kali, Fine brush tipped, katanya waterproof, tapi kenyataannya ngga :( kurang opaque juga pas dipake. So I won't repurchase later.

3. Sariayu Shimmering Powder. harganya 60ribuan.  Beli ini karena kepepet mau kondangan tapi highlighter gatau kemana. daaannn jelek banget pas dipake, very powdery, too shimmery, berasa shimmer nya chunky banget

4. wet n wild megalast lipstick. Ini yang paling bikin happy. Aku beli 2 shade: Ravin' Raisin (dark plum) dan Just Peachy (Light Peach). Ravin' Raisin sih yang paling cakep, kalau Just Peachy berasa terlalu light buat kulitku, mungkin bakal beli lip pencil yang agak gelap kali ya buat base nya.

5. I Love Makeup : I am Powerfull palette, Ini UK brand subline nya Makeup Revolution. belum terlalu ngehits di Indonesia sih, tapi udah banyak juga review dari brand makeup revolution ini di Youtube. Brand ini terkenal dengan Dupe produk highendnya yang luar biasa mirip, dengan harga miring tentunya. Ok back to the palette. jadi palette ini isinya ada 6 Lilac - Purple tones eyeshadow (2 matte, 4 shimmer) + 1 Lipstick (dark berry shade). lipsticknya udah coba di swatch dan ciamik banget. eyeshadownya berasa buttery banget. Can't wait to use this!

[review] Revealed Palette

Hello Beauties! Long time no see, eh?

So today I will be reviewing a not-so-new palette from coastal scent "REVEALED PALETTE" 

Actually I've been having and using this palette for about 3 months or so, and I have to say that I'm in Love with this lil guy. this palette comes in 2 versions (Revealed and Revealed 2) I didn't have the 2nd one at moment, I can't really tell what's it like. But i do heard some great review about it, and  a lot beauty bloggers say that the 2nd one is also a close dupe to naked family (UD Naked 3)

The palette itself is really slim and light which is great for travelling or storing, and it has a magnetic closure on the lid, which is nice. And contains of 20 shades of shimmers and a few mattes (there are only 4 mattes, that's great enough for me, I'm not a big fan of matte eye shadows as they sometimes looks dull on me, I don't know why)

Shade 1:   pale matte yellow toned beige shade. Perfect for highlight/ browbone shadow

Shade 2:  pale pinky champagne with tiny silver shimmer. Creamy and pigmented

Shade 3:  rosey pinky shade with silver shimmer, this is my favorite lid color!

Shade 4:  matte light tan

Shade 5: medium toned matte taupe shade

Shade 6:  medium Bronzy brown with gold shimmer

Shade 7:  medium matte brown that is perfect for crease/ blending/ brow shade

Shade 8: A shimmery gold

Shade 9:  A Deep taupe brown with golden shimmer

Shade 10:  This is a taupe-y shimmery silver

BOTTOM ROW:

Shade 11:  Deep Copper Brown 

Shade 12:  Deep brown shade with the slightest shimmery finish

Shade 13:  A deep taupey grey shade

Shade 14: Darker version of shade 12

Shade 15: Medium rose gold with a copper undertone

Shade 16:  This is a little like Shade 13 only more on the brown side

Shade 17:  like shade 15 only more on the coppery side

Shade 18:  A Deep dark brown with a slight golden shimmer

Shade 19:  A Deep Silver

Shade: 20:  A Deep matte black, this one is more on the chalkier side, but still great if you can blend it nicely

Pro:

- great packaging (slim, lightweight, travel friendly)

- affordable, great alternative to naked palette

- versatile, from simple daily look to smoky look

- the shimmers are super pretty, a really nice satin finish, super creamy

- with primer, this definitely stay for at least 6-7 hours even if you have oily eyelids

Con:

- no mirror

- Some of the matte shade are not as good (e.g : the matte black)

overall: 4/5

Things/person that excite me (or make me happy)

I am a crazy kid! I giggle at simple stuff, I scream full of joy over small things. Sometimes for no particular reason or simply because the mood was good. I get kinda.. manic-ish like a lot, most of days especially when I have/meet these stuff/person.

First on the list: My boyfriend. We've been together as an item for about 3.5year now I guess. But I've known him for  6 years. We met on second day at college. I don't like him at first, because of his cocky-ness (he still does). But before I realize, we had grown closer to each other then fell in love (awww..) we still fighting each other too. Almost Daily. But, whenever I saw him, my heart still jump happily!

My cousins. They were my first bestfriends. Eventhough we live apart from each other, miles away from each other. We still keep in touch. And seeing them, it's like seeing your old friends that you miss so much. PS: I have 20ish cousins with girls my age as majority.

Make up. I LOVE MAKEUP. Higher end, drugstore ones. I Love 'em all. Equally. For me trying new cosmetic feels like meeting new people (interesting colourful people). Once, I saw this new make up brand that I wanted to try so much I couldn't sleep. The magnet is so strong, too strong. 

Picnic. Who doesn't?  Seating underneath a tree with your love ones. Took a nap. Drinking lemonade. Lovely. That reminds me, it's been a while. Hoping that this rainy season will be over soon. So I can go out and having picnic time. 

Baking. I'm not a baker. 50% of my baked goods were failures. But still. I love to try new cake recipe. 

Get yourself ready, the last one is going to be weird. Washing the dishes. It calms my crazy nerve. This is indeed, one of my favorite house chore.

Sambil nunggu pergantian tahun ke 2015, nih aku kenalin my current fave faux-lashes.

Ini 100% produk lokal loh (made in Indonesia), made from natural human (makanya bener-bener lightweight, nggak berat dimata plus natural)

Ada sekitar belasan varian faux lashes yang bisa kamu pilih tentunya, dari seri au naturel, demi goddess, maison de poupee, wildflower sampai yang terbaru fairy dust!

Actually aku udah nyobain banyak modelnya mulai dari yang natural buat daily sampai yang flirty doll look a like. Tapi tetap yang jadi favorit yaitu Amaryllis from Wildflower series.

PRO:
- cute packaging!!
- made from natural human hair ( I hate syntetic ones)
- affordable (dulu pas beli ini harganya IDR 30rb, sekarang naik harganya jadi IDR 35rb hiks, tapi masih tergolong murah kok untuk ukuran luxury lashes, human hair pula
- lightweight
- reusable (asal perawatannya bener, bisa di pakai sampai 3-4 kali or even more kalau kamu orangnya telaten dan rapi :)
- ada instruction how to apply the lashes, oke banget nih buat kamu yang pemula

Christmas Time 2014

Hello, beauties!

It's Christmas right? This year, I'm spending Christmas with my family in Yogyakarta, like every other Christmases and New years. Because it's family time! FYI, our family lives apart from each other, which is pretty uncommon for Indonesian family (or other asian countries I guess). I live with my sister in Jakarta because or work and school, my mother and my little brother live in our house in Yogyakarta, and my father live in Eastern Indonesia in Biak, Papua. He works there and travel back home every once in a while.

Basically, Christmas and new years are holidays that get us back together.

SO, I WISH YOU A HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!

Today I woke up earlier in order to take my mom to airport for morning flight. So yeah, spending my morning drinking our airport's bad coffee sporting a sleepy look. Totally forgot that we have starbucks here LOL

Review: Ecotools Mineral Brush Set

Hello, Beauties!
So I just got a brand new brush set from Ecotools called Ecotools Mineral Brush Set, consist of 4 brushes and 1 pouch to keep the brushes in.

 

(L-R): makeup pouch, mini kabuki, concealer brush, eyeshading brush, mineral powder brush

I purchased this set from local online store in Instagram for IDR 170000 (It's USD 9.99 on ecotools website, so CHEAP)

what's in the set?
1. Mini Kabuki : This is the smallest Kabuki I've ever seen. It's really cute and despite the size it does a good job, really useful for reaching small areas like under eyes, the nose and basically all over your face. And it is so soft and fluffy I could die! RATE: 5/5

2. Concealer brush: I really don't know what to do with this brush since I don't really like using it for concealer application. It does feel streaky on your face and just it doesn't do well with concealer. I tried using it and ended up using my finger to 'sink' the concealer in. Also the handle doesn't feel right, I don't know why. RATE: 1/5

3. Eyeshading brush: It should be called eye blending brush I guess. I just use it for put eyeshadow in crease area and then blend blend blend. Really nice for blending eyeshadows and so soft, like a lullaby to my eyelid. RATE 5/5

4. Mineral powder brush: I use this to apply product in my area. It pick the blush very well and make the blush look very natural on me. FYI, I have a pretty pigmented blush from Catrice, and I usually have to use it with a light hand. However, imho, this brush is not very suitable for contouring, I find it rather too soft and a little too flimsy for contouring. RATE: 3/5

Mineral powder brush

Lastly, the pouch.  this is a just a simple average mini makeup bag with zipper. Nothing special tho'. You can bring your brushes in this bag and even toss lipstick and mini shadows too in it.

In my opinion, this is a pretty great brush set that you toss in your bag for touch-up or even to travel with during trips. Personally, this is gonna be my ultimate travel companion when I don't want to bring a lot of makeup and big brushes. 

Also this is an eco friendly set, It just feels right to beautify your while protecting the enviroment :)

TOP 5 Beauty Wishlist

Hello Beauties! So, here's my current list of the beauty good that I want to try. I actually have longer list, but this is kind of the TOP 5 of my list.

1. Chiaroscuro contour and highlight stick (Em Cosmetics)  : I do have a contour kit that I got from Coastal Scent, but since the palette's pretty huge so I've been thinking to get a handy one that I can traveled with. This chiaroscuro seems like the the cutest ever, nice size and it came in lipstick-y shape, I bet it's really easy to use, I mean, you don't even need a brush. The only thing that bothers me is the price, quite expensive! It retails for $24, and even more expensive in Indonesia, I've seen several online store based in Indonesia sell it for Rp. 400.000 to 500.000ish (approx. $30-40).

2. Revealed Palette (Coastal Scents) : Closest dupe for Naked palette, I guess. and apparently It's sold online as well. duh!

3. Beauty Blender : Enough said about this beauty tool, I feel like it's about time to get one of this.

4. Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation : I know this is not a new released product but again, we don't have Covergirl product here,so...I don't get any chance to tried this foundie after all this time. If you want in depth review, just check DulceCandy's review on youtube :)

5. MAC Kinda Sexy: I just want this so much, out of curiousity.

I know I've been MIA for a very long time, I was just so busy with school and stuff. But now that I done with school stuff, let's get back to business. hoorrayyy!!
Well, honestly I still don't know what to cover/write on my blog yet, but here are some idea of the upcoming post:
1. Local brand product. So, I admit, us Indonesian don't have many cosmetics options especially drugstore ones. But few days ago, I was just strolling around the internet and found Harumi's post (Harumi is one of Indonesian beauty blogger/beautypreneur) about product of a local brand called Pixi. I heard about this brand before but honestly I have never used it before. The product shown on the website is pretty cute tho'.

2. Make up wishlist? yes do have a LOT of make up that I want to try. Most of them are USA drugstore products, since it's hard get in indonesia. For High end brand like the balm, make up forever, MAC etc, they're now widely available in Malls I believe.
